Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Watches
What are watch modifications?
Watch modification (or "modding") is the art of building custom timepieces by combining high-quality components with genuine automatic movements. Each watch is assembled by hand, resulting in a unique timepiece that combines proven reliability with original design. Our watches are not replicas. They are original creations assembled in our workshop.
What movements do you use?
We use 100% genuine, original Japanese automatic movements. Our primary calibres are the NH35A (automatic with hacking and hand-winding), the NH34A (automatic GMT), and the VK63 (meca-quartz chronograph). These movements are renowned worldwide for their precision, durability, and serviceability.
How accurate are your watches?
Our automatic movements (NH35A, NH34A) are accurate to approximately +/- 20 seconds per day, which is excellent for mechanical timepieces. The VK63 meca-quartz chronograph keeps quartz-level accuracy of approximately +/- 20 seconds per month. Accuracy may vary slightly depending on position, temperature, and wear habits.
What is sapphire crystal?
Sapphire crystal is a lab-grown, transparent material rated 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it the second-hardest transparent material after diamond. It is virtually scratch-proof and offers superior clarity compared to mineral glass. All our timepieces feature sapphire crystal as standard.
What is the water resistance rating?
All our watches are rated 5ATM (50 meters). This means they are suitable for everyday wear including rain, splashes, and brief immersion. However, we do not recommend swimming, diving, or exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or saunas, as these conditions can compromise the seals over time.
How do I wind my automatic watch?
Unscrew the crown (if applicable), then turn it clockwise 20 to 30 times. You will feel gentle resistance as the mainspring winds. Once wound, the watch has approximately 41 hours of power reserve. Regular daily wear (8+ hours) will keep the movement charged through natural wrist motion.
Do I need to service my watch?
Automatic movements benefit from servicing every 3 to 5 years to maintain optimal performance. Signs that service may be needed include significant time loss/gain, the watch stopping despite being fully wound, or unusual noises. Contact us for service recommendations.
What materials are used in the case and bracelet?
All our cases and bracelets are made from 316L stainless steel, also known as marine-grade or surgical steel. It is hypoallergenic, corrosion-resistant, and extremely durable. The same grade of steel is used in high-end watchmaking and medical instruments.

What does the warranty cover?
